The finalists for the Valerie Baker Memorial Award have been announced.
The scheme recognises excellence in the general insurance intermediary sector.
This year’s finalists are:
- Kurt Nilsen, Lion Underwriting, NSW
- Michael Kincaid, Regional Insurance Brokers, Queensland
- Daniel Bullock, Safeguard Insurance Brokers, SA.
The winner will receive an expenses-paid trip to London, attendance at a Chartered Insurance Institute course, learning activities with key underwriters and brokers, a tour of Lloyd’s and a meeting with senior Lloyd’s managers.
Gold Seal MD Sheila Baker has hailed the calibre of nominations.
“We have seen entries from some of the best, most-rounded industry professionals in Australia,” she said.
The award is jointly sponsored by Gold Seal, Austbrokers & IBNA Member Services and the Steadfast Group, with support from Lloyd’s. The winner will be announced on May 5.
